When looking for a property to retire in, Wendy and Andy knew they needed something to put their mark on.
They found an amazing Thatched cottage set in wonderful country side which had a run down barn on their land opposite their home.
They took on the challenge to knock this down and rebuild a stunning holiday let.
Situated In Peasmarsh, East Sussex, Nestling in the delightful countryside just 3 miles to the north west of Rye, Peasmarsh maintains a busy local community. The church of St. Peter and St. Paul lies about a mile from the village centre, showing that the population was struck down in the 14th Century with bubonic plague and the surviving inhabitants re-settled nearby
A dream oak frame
Wendy and Andy knew exactly what they wanted for their dream build.
The option they chose from our portfolio was an encapsulated building, and coupled with three huge sets of bi-folds it was all about getting the views from outside inside.
An open plan kitchen and dining area incorporating the family living space, three bedrooms along with a ground floor bathroom and utility. We collaborated with the couple to make their design a reality, and the exciting process began.
With a keen eye for detail and an exceptional ability to find vintage signs, fabrics and all-sorts of interesting nick knacks, we cant wait to see this finished.
